Indonesian Styrax vs other Regions
Our resin is famous for its creamy, vanilla-like, and woody aroma. It is deep, warm, and comforting. It provides a 'milky' sweetness that is highly sophisticated and less medicinal.
It contains a high concentration of Cinnamic Acid and Natural Vanillin. This chemical structure makes it an extraordinary natural fixative. In perfumery, it acts as an anchor, holding volatile top notes on the skin for 8 to 12 hours.
Features a 'milky' white to pale yellow crystalline structure (especially in our Grade A). When processed, it creates a rich, opaque tincture.
